Look, all you have to do is google “Hijra” and “Muxe.” This ain’t hard, y’all. It’s not new, it’s not weird— it’s been this way since humans were invented. What IS new and different and weird in a bad way is any attempt to stifle humans loving each other. THAT’S weird in a horrible way.

I still stand ten toes down on this statement even after I got death threats on Twitter about it. Writing off the south continues to birth resentment and a further divide that shouldn’t even be there. They want a division to make it easier to continue regressive bullshit. Stop. Falling. For. It.
