People knew it too! They still tried to hide much of it then and kept their racism to folks who couldn’t respond & their rapey activities away from friends’ sisters etc. “it’s ok as long as no one who knows about it sticks up for anyone it happened to.”

The “nature” of men is not violent and hateful, but this is a permission structure for that.

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

There are two types of freedom:

1. FROM oppression.
2. TO oppress.

And (2) has always been what the NRA types embraced.

So Trump IS LIBERATORY for them.

The people I see advocating respirator use, including myself, are disabled and speaking from necessity and firsthand understanding of the consequences. I'm sure there are people coming at the issue from fear, but I haven't seen that.
I know people won't adopt it widely, but stigma is still injurious
