Pascal has survived his molt! I scrounged around his soil today and after a bit of some rehydrating of the substrate he suddenly burst out the ground to run around and show himself off, no more dull colors :)

The book uses these really powerful repetitive compositions to create a strong sense of artificial, unstoppable power and i just think about it all the time. It was my introduction to the horrors of colonization as a child.
