In her work, which focused mainly on events of the last 100 years around the world, she found that nonviolence worked more often than violence to a notable degree. She speaks to both strategies in her research, and gave thoughtful consideration to both, which I appreciated.

Pics I took at today’s #NoKings in *still* #peaceful (and fun!) #Portland #Oregon. Local police & news orgs said 40,000 ppl attended & they tend to run pretty conservative in their crowd size estimates. It was an awesome, family friendly event and expression of #community. ✊🇺🇸🐸

Well, the GOP does seem to be the party of pedophiles & pedophile protectors, and they’re the ones who push to lower the age of consent, so it’s not surprising they’re complaining about adults at protests. Plus, their ICE gestapo is zip tying & kidnapping kids so that’ll reduce the <50 demo, too.
