🆕 Research suggests a conference poster format that outperforms BOTH the "journal article on a wall" and #betterposter formats.

The “Complete assertion headings” poster format!

🤔

Yeah, they should have workshopped the name a little more.

A new paper by Wolfe and colleagues (in press) provide a new suggestion for improving your poster. Do not use generic section headings like...

Oh cool that’s really good to know! I’m glad to hear that 🙌
I’m quite enjoying Pritzker’s Very Chicago attitude being all over the news these days. 🤣
I’m glad Chicago has been getting some good attention lately.

It wasn’t until I was in college that I learned the rest of the country/world apparently had a really bad impression of our city?

I always found that odd. Chicago is a pretty cool place to live, relatively speaking.
Greed rots people’s brains, I swear.
*(Maybe it is possible that it’s legal and they can keep the deposit)
But yeah it’s also so horrible how we aren’t protected as consumers here. Maybe it is possible. Who knows honestly. Movers broke our couch in half and went turtle speed to overcharge us and we still have to pay them every penny!! It’s so unfair
Ok yeah I was wondering if that was her. Then yeah. Unless she signed a contract or something that had this in the small print, Small claims.
Depending on the state, it might not be legal. I could see her winning in court over this. Not that going to court is necessarily easy…but yeah.

Stop suggesting that teachers use AI for teaching and grading and start giving teachers space and tools to actually help do our jobs.

When people Google your name, can they find what you want them to know about you? #AcademicSky

You deserve a digital footprint that shares your research, teaching, and what you value as an academic (if you want one).

AI images in your presentations are not worth burning the planet. Also, they aren't good.

There are important differences from the journal peer review process that all aspiring book authors need to understand.

When I tried to do this, my subscription was cancelled and I never had a chance to downgrade to classic.

I tried to find a way to contact someone to see if I can still subscribe to the classic but couldn’t find a way.

Oh well, guess I lose my office subscription soon. 🤷‍♀️

Microsoft is going to price gouge you by adding their genAI to your subscription without your consent, and they are not transparent about how to avoid this bullshit.
