You can't compare one edition to another edition because they are not going to be the same in how they were designed and what they were designed for. Pathfinder 2E has crits when you get a plus ten on an attack, making those plus ones really impactful.

Like I get it Pathfinder first edition allowed you to do some really stupid shit. Not even optimal shit. Just some really stupid stuff because the design wasn't calculated in mind with how things should work. That doesn't make Pathfinder 2E worse. Neither does it make Pathfinder first edition better
