I have a few really good ones but only this one’s legible (it’s also the best one)

The others were written down ~ 40+ years ago and barely survived a fire. I’ll see if I can transcribe them later.

P.S. I use WAY MORE grated Parmesan lol

Chicken & wild rice casserole — cooked in 275° oven
INGREDIENTS: 6 chicken breasts, skinned, de-boned +cut in half
1 box Uncle Ben's wild rice w/ seasonings
1 can each of cream of Mushroom, cream of celery + cream of chicken soups
2 soup cans of milk
1 cup melted butfer
1 small can (30z) grated parmesan (pssh)
1 small package of slivered almonds AND!!!/or 1 can of diced water chestnuts, quartered (do both FFS)

• combine soups and milk, then mix half with the box of wild rice in a 9x13 casserole
• Add sliced water chestnuts (preferably quartered)
• sprinkle seasonings from box over rice/soup mixture
• Place chicken on top
• Add remaining soup mixture to cover
• Pour melted butter on top
• Sprinkle Parmesan cheese & almonds on top
Bake at 275° for 3 hours (a few extra minutes won’t hurt it)
Serves 8
