Scientific authority on #vaccines in the US no longer rests with the #CDC and #ACIP. However, there is still the independent, evidence based #CIDRAP from the University of Minnesota.

Who have never had to transfer a patient out of bed because transporters are busy. Who do not stand on their feet for 16 hour shifts. Who have never eaten a sandwich in workplace bathroom because they aren't receiving breaks.

Raising the work requirement to 64 is brutality directed toward seniors.

The poorest Americans do not work cushy desk jobs. My father did not make it to be old enough to even qualify for #Medicare.

64 may not seem "too old" to work to our Senators, who sit in a chamber and look at paperwork. Who have never swung a hammer or picked up a chainsaw or post hole digger.

As I see Trump's tax bill propose raising the age for forcing people to work to receive food, from 54 to 64, I think of my father.

A carpenter whose body was already spent in his 50s. After decades of manual labor for low pay, he survived on #SNAP.

I said years ago that #California is the state most likely to initiate #secession from federal government. Their immense economic power sets them apart. They expect to self-govern & when that expectation is thwarted by feds, they don't feel a need to be submissive. They know they can go it alone.
