To me, this is not about knowing what is or being "right", but I've always taken it as what we should do when it comes to injustice.

We have come to far to turn back now. We leave in a great country & we can continue on the path to making it better for all, not just the few.

Remember when Pres. George W. Bush talked about “youthful indiscretions” up until he was about 40? Also, Vance is talking as if the Internet is brand new. He was in his early 20s when the iPhone came out.

Plus, he tried to do “edgy” even now.

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

He sings “If you hate brown people / and you are a Nazi” and ICE thugs grab him and drag him into detention. No violence—just speech.

Gotta say, it takes an *amazing* lack of shame for Louisiana to show up to the Supreme Court to make the exact OPPOSITE argument than they made last year in the same case.

I couldn't do it. But I have, you know, intellectual integrity.

Story & thread: I lived 2 years in Everett in the early 1990s while in grad school. It was an interesting area & even then a mix of different groups. Sadly, there are so many stories like this one, and have been for a while. Glad folks are telling them!

NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:

ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.

Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.
