Looks like a lot of lenticular clouds forming around the mountain. What a cool phenomenon.

Happy Anita Bryant Humiliation Day
A four-panel image of Anita Bryant being pied in her sanctimonious face by gay rights activist Thom Higgins, 1977.
Thinking about what could've been, as one does at 0310, if Kacey Bellamy had donned the green and blue, and had Brass Bonanza played for her.

Sigh.

Excellent piece by Greg Weaver @fresnoland.bsky.social reporting the problems that led to the loss of Teakettle. We need to future-proof our land management agencies so that internal bureaucratic process and structure does not continue to cause inaction.

Yeah, the Woolsey went through some areas that hadn't burned in a while, I believe 2005. And much like 2005, I was concerned about burning on the SSFL property.

SCE really does need to up to 100+ mph standards for certain areas prone to Santa Anas, and that includes a decent chunk of populated VC.

Daily bunny no.3109's seafaring days are behind him
A bunny, dressed like a sea captain, smokes a pipe as he sits on the roof of his tavern in a town by the sea. The tavern is called "The Birb & Bun", and there are a few seagulls on the roof with him, relaxing. At the entrance to the tavern, younger sailor bunnies are on shore leave.
Having rewatched Casino Royale just last night, this is a good awakening.

Still wonder why Tomorrow Never Dies isn't rated higher, Michelle Yeoh crushes it.
Coming around to Casino Royale as the best Bond movie, I’m not there but the theme song and Vesper have me like 75% of the way there
Anyone else hear the Pac Man sound?
A perfect photo of Eugenio Suárez. No notes.

I think of it as the Make It-Break It Juxtaposition.

It was great to make shit, but it was fun to break it.

Still that way.

Demolition derby is good. Also, if there's a local sports team that does those smack it with a sledge fundraisers? Sadly, no more Mythbusters.
With the engine roaching problem Chevy's had of late, it may have been the best way-or the easiest-to get rid of the truck.

Regardless, that's some good shit, and I hope a few of the kids watching were converted to little chaos muppets because of it.
Pumpkin wins!

Flawless victory!
how happy we’d all be if this was all the internet was for
Of course they did. Between the Woolsey Fire and the Thomas Fire, their exposure was probably considerable.

They're right up with PG&E in my book in doing their damnedest to make ratepayers shoulder the burdens of their bad decisions.

Also, the DTSC/SSFL report after Woolsey, definitely suspect.
Well when you put it that way.

But still, I'm never not pleased when the Kings lose.
Ah, yes, the post-vacation consternation.

Bless the schedule fairies.

Scritches to the roomies.
Sounds like a GMKD problem more than anything.

Least he'll get to say hi to Dumo on Thursday.
He can take it out on LA day after tomorrow.
As a night owl who doesn't have a set schedule, I respect your commitment to the team.
Fair, especially with that result...😁
Ah, but do you sit him if they get the kill?
I forgot how ratchet I get listening to the radio feed rather than the television feed.
