Exactly this. People with a history of food insecurity stock up on cheap stuff and non perishable foods just in case some asshole shuts down the government. They are not eating steak & lobster.

Apparently Trump is now sending the FBI to the homes of innocent protestors, in part to find out who is behind the "criminal conspiracy" arranging these protests.
