Also he was a high school freshman at the start, so tights that early wouldn't have made any sense 😂

But yeah, later seasons they should have broken the "no flight, no tights" rule when he's fighting Doomsday, etc

They just look so badass, and you can instantly understand what they're all about with a single look
Possibly the most thematically appropriate suits in all of Sentai

I am once again taking this chance to tell you to watch FMA 2003 and its finale movie, Conqueror of Shambala, before watching FMA Brotherhood if possible. Disregarding manga accuracy, it's as good as or better than FMAB and its pacing is way better. Yes there's filler but even a lot of that is good.

Being an anime fan and a manga fan are two different things, it is totally possible to into both at the same time, but not only are manga series worth checking out even if they never get an adaptation, constantly conflating the two leads to both mediums' unique strengths being devalued
