I renovated the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House. It was renovated in the 1940s in an art deco green tile style, which was totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era. I did it in black and white polished Statuary marble. This was very appropriate for the time of Abraham Lincoln and, in fact, could be the marble that was originally there!

Right, it’s perception vs reality…and letting the right write the narrative of what the Dem platform is.

You miss the point though, it’s about perception.
You are 100% correct in what you said, but what matters is what others thought…wrongly…but it’s what they thought.
Part of the problem was letting right wing biased media write the narrative about what the Dem platform was.
