But there is a difference between personal forgiveness and generally accepting that we should have a path to restorative justice and not forever condemning those who do have a change of heart/mind to being outsiders.

Some of you are eager to dig up dirt on people so you can ring the shame bell.

I'm not saying anything about forgiveness here. Note that the word appears nowhere in the previous post.

Forgiveness is a separate issue from allowing someone to make amends for their past and rejoin society. Nobody is ever required to forgive another.
