A federal judge has the authority to swear in a member of the House of Representatives, if the Speaker refuses to do so, House Reps would have a process resolution to address his refusal. This is supported by legal precedent, the Constitution and historical exceptions.

So House Dems—use this!

It's fun watching the British betting on the odds Trump won't finish his term in the White House. In just a few weeks, for a bet that Trump won't finish his term, the odds fell from 12:1 down to 7:4.

The world is watching his mental, medical, and political decline.

The irony and the hypocrisy:
Texas has a bigger violent crime problem than Illinois, with a violent crime rate of 389 offenses per 100,000 people in 2024 compared to Illinois' rate of 289 offenses per 100,000 people. Recent studies also rank Texas as 48th out of 50 states for overall safety. .

The recent ICE raid which emptied an entire apartment building was apparently at the request of Wells Fargo, which is trying to foreclose on the building.
