This is my buddy Pico. I cannot stress enough how "the absolute best" he was.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are highly susceptible to a type of cancer called histiocytic sarcoma, at around a 20% rate.

It came up so suddenly and tore him from our life. I'm not sure I'll ever recover.

Watching an anime where the protag has Fenrir as an animal companion and a pixie dragon and a slime that goes pewpew and it was going FINE until he cracked open a soft boiled egg right down the middle and a perfectly poached egg fell onto the plate and I'm outraged at how absurdly unrealistic it is

Folks demanding political / ideological purity fail to see that this is no longer a movement belonging to the left / liberals. This is an opposition against fascism. By definition it must be big tent. Failure to grasp this: see divided oppositions in Eastern Europe as your failed examples.

spectacularly, that dumbass thinks it's time to lean into less trust, not more? no thanks; i want a faithful facsimile of reality. it's bad enough that the mere framing of a photo can distort perception, it's even worse when the framing AND the provenance of the image are wholly manufactured.
