Ehh... that's giving away too much too soon. Democracy isn't dead until we can't vote lawbreakers out & vote in ppl who will hold them accountable (which needs to include center-right candidates where Dems can't win b/c actual ideological conservatives are astonishingly good at anti-corruption).

I know the soybean crop was for feed & thus difficult to quick-pivot (since tons of feed isn't an impulse buy)...

But OMG, it kills me nobody has talked to them about crops they could switch to if, for instance, NY city stores tried offering just 5-10 staples in bulk. Beans, wheat berries, etc.

I will note one, and only one, "higher nature" plea touched my heart.

Tim Miller pointed out loss of time to contemplate & grow, which he (Tim) had experienced, was a tragedy. And noted anyone now marveling at Kristol's warmth & integrity wouldn't have thought so of him at Kirk's age.

At 105th chaos erupted when ICE agents allegedly crashed into an SUV. A crowd formed and objects were thrown. Pepper balls were shot into the crowd. Police arrived to try to have dialogue with the crowd when witnesses stated they began throwing rocks at ICE. ICE then deployed tear gas.

Agreed. And I believe they want as much discovery as thorough, hyper-competent pursuit of these avenues can yield.

IMO he wants to prevail & bring anything from within the admin to light that prevailing permits.

Could be completely wrong about this, but my current theory is that the data analysis & diagnostic assist LLM applications will slowly flourish into helpful hand-honed tools b/c they'll need to be confined to private networks as online AI gets flooded with AI-automated pseudoqueries.

An odd, interesting example of this was how the "little foxes" mention in Fleabag had all the classical & reform denomination folks, Jewish folks, & literature students DiCaprio pointing & yelling "Song of Solomon!" But it was a fraction of the recognition the Bible Study era would have yielded.

Instablock reply was inadvertently correct about one thing: Evangelicals in general are not encouraged or are actively discouraged from studying ecclesiastical texts b/c reading leads to interpreting rather than in-group obedience. Very likely that she did most of her theology study after fleeing.

Yeah, pre-tariffs I got 3 of every tool/consumable I could justify storing, but I wish I'd bought more.

B/c I'm currently awaiting delivery of a smartwatch with a 100% unique health monitoring feature for a loved one.

And I have no idea if I'll be charged $4, $40, or $400 when it arrives.
