Also, why’s the top quote tweeted cdnpoli? This has nothing to do with Canada
Seems like a lot of people have forgotten that ACAB is ACAB. Doesn’t matter if they post “friendly” things like this.
Don’t give them an inch. They aren’t pro-protest. They aren’t on your side. They are the state.
It’s the same reason cops shouldn’t be welcome at Pride events.
Sorry to report I hate this kind of shit and I think this kind of naivety is dangerous and should be loudly pushed back against
Absolutely sent this.

One small adjustment to the template, these wouldn’t be concentrating power in the Executive Branch, since they aren’t giving the GG any new powers. I believe they meant “Cabinet”
I’ve heard that nostalgia is the most toxic impulse, but that croissant this morning was definitely a reminder of what I miss about living in Halifax
Back when we were living here and I worked in downtown Halifax, they still had a location in the Historic Properties. It was a payday ritual for me to grab a croissant before work.
I’ve been craving a Two if by Sea croissant for literally years
I keep seeing posts about the new Critical Role campaign. It looks amazing and super ambitious for AP, but I simply can’t with the episode length
I can’t spend more than 15-20 minutes in most thrift stores, even while masking
I don’t have much to add other than I canceled Game Pass back in May due to the BDS Boycott, and I traded in my Series S a few weeks ago for $$ to put toward a Switch 2
But the $60k argument lets them frame themselves as anti-elites, so
I think the idea that being anti-AI is the same as being anti-Marxist comes from the same place as the pro-AI people who claim they *can’t* learn to make art on their own because “art school costs $60k”
Which is absurd on the face of it since the only thing getting good at art really costs is time.
It was a low bar, but Carney’s apparently a limbo champion

I take strenuous exception to the idea that funding Canada Post is "bailing them out". Government shouldn't talk like that about a public service. Does the fire department need to break even?
Canada Post isn’t on track to “lose” $1.5 billion. That’s what it costs for a vital piece of infrastructure.
Always use the “u”.
“Re” at the end of centre, theatre, etc.
Lean towards “ize” over “ise”.
American car terms (trunk, hood, tire, etc.).

so I'm about 7 hours into Silent Hill f and it is clunky, stiff to control, disorienting, claustrophobic, the combat is kinda ass, I never have enough items, and I'm constantly opening and closing the map like a fiend

in other words it's a perfect silent hill game, they fuckin did it

This is it, but people are too gullible and mindless to realize it.

Strictly speaking, he didn’t give us 24 hours notice before he had his little tantrum today, either

Fair. @andenheks.bsky.social and I watched it the other night while we’ve been marathoning the previous series. It seems like an interesting spread of people, but neither of us were particularly familiar with any of them.

Yep! What do you think of the s20 cast?

Sadly, gamergate never really ended, it just became the mainstream right wing

ATTN FELLOW CANADIANS:

An actual MP has created a petition to stop financial discrimination against adult creators by payment processors. You have to confirm your email but thats because its something that can actually be shown to parliament.
Canadians! There is a petition to sign to protest Mastercard and Visa's control over the purchase of legal adult content. This is specifically about the Steam & itchio situation, but language protects adult creators.
