Came here to do this. Beat me by seconds! 😅
Unless it's interactive fiction! (though I suppose that would be more often second person)
I recently discovered I've been saying Anania's name wrong (a-NAAN-ya) but I can't for the life of me remember what it's supposed to be or where I heard it said properly. Someone help?

The descendants of illegal immigrants who built a nation on stolen land are complaining about illegal immigration.

You really can’t make this up.

What do you think will happen to your disabled allies in the starvation and rubble of a civil war fought with cruise missiles and drones? You think their meds will still be available?

If you’re doing any writing or posting about the phrase “transgender ideology” it should be to say one of the following things:
— it’s a meaningless dog whistle
— trans people had nothing to do with this shooting
— there’s no evidence shooter was trying to show support for trans people/trans rights
Honest, independent, fearless my whole ass
If violence is never the answer and we should be trying to win over centrists by "exposing the callousness" of people like Kirk, that should start with refusing to lionize them.

To me, it seems like a really easy argument to win. People like Kirk have a big audience, if you can expose the callousness in their position, then you may win some of that audience.

And Muslim hatred is Muslim hatred no matter what word is used. I'm glad we agree.
You might want to read the Wikipedia entry a little closer. As a term, Judeophobia first appeared in the late 1800s, not 1800 years ago.

In any case, Judeophobia is *also* a word that was created. I'm gonna hold your hand when I tell you this...
So there's no such thing as antisemitism because that word was created too, right? to describe a phenomenon? And I guess all Jews are X because the Torah says Y? Just want to make sure I'm understanding your logic here.
For someone with a post history so against antisemitism, you sure are quick to be Islamophobic...

Today I wrote about a general tendency to accept atrocious premises, and the need to reject fascism's false choices in order to find expansive and imaginative paths forward.

Breaking the premise, embracing the obstacles, pursing everything.

There Is No Trolley Problem
We actually aren't constrained into atrocious premises by thought exercises. Obstacles are a reason to fight, not an excuse to quit. Our friends and neighbors aren't distractions..
