This is pretty classic NASCAR. I've heard NASCAR brass doing media spots talking about how boring the sport is too often the last 20 years. I'm sure that really makes the sport appeal to new viewers when the top people tell you how bad the sport is.

Multiple people on NASCAR’s payroll spending the end of the season going on podcasts to say “this format sure is stupid” is pretty funny. I’d have waited til December for that run.

Lowes just emailed me that the four-year protection plan we bought on our microwave is expiring soon and asked if we wanted to extend it. We paid $140 for the microwave. It sells for $220 now, which is crazy enough. But they wanted $290 to cover the microwave for three more years. Why would anyone?

MX-5 Cup embodies what I've been saying we need in stock car racing for years. And is about as close as a race car comes to being an actual "stock car" as any form of racing.
