For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.

That’s why groups like YCT and eventually TPUSA formed — because Young Republicans weren’t radical enough.

Janet Mills is tough and effective. She'll be a great senator. I'm excited to see this race and ready to watch her take down Susan Collins. And I think it's exciting that Democrats have a good primary field to ensure that the winner comes through a stronger candidate.

Amen to all of this. Republicans in the NC leg won't pass a budget, but they will do Trump's bidding to gerrymander the congressional maps even MORE. It would be great if they started doing work that actually helps North Carolinians.

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.

This country is built on a rule of law with a justice system, not just committing violence against people you declare guilty--or declaring everyone who opposes your point of view as guilty.
