This has been a popular talking point for that group for a very long time.

Its wrong, but it fits with their world view that a woman's only worth is for sex and if that worth is diminished then maybe they will get entitlement sex finally.

I think an important thing is being left unsaid.

To a certain set of dudes this is a positive step towards a world where they feel women will be taken down a peg. They think once the sex robots show up, "women won't have any value anymore."

This is a step towards that fantasy.
