This is a good time to say no one should be treated differently for height, skin tone, or anything else. The same way tall, curvy Black women get mislabeled as masculine, our trans siblings face misgendering and erasure. It’s all part of the same fight for respect & humanity regardless of body parts

As a tall, curvy Black woman, I dress hyper-feminine mostly because it’s my style, but also because society already tries to masculinize me. If I “dressed down,” I’d be treated as less soft, less woman, less seen. So I claim my femininity before they try to take it. And trust, they’ve tried!
