Thoughts and prayers to Sean Plunket who, it seems, is entering the "Find Out" stage of broadcasting.

#BHN David Seymour this morning commenting on someone who used to be associated with the Te Pati Maori that his actions show…

“the true soul of Te Pati Maori”

So, if those are HIS standards, the true soul of ACT can be seen in child sexual criminal, Tim Jago

Fair?

Suck on that, Bryce Wilkinson (and Luxon of course).

All that Covid $$$ support, was actually almost fiscally neutral and saved the country.

By boosting economic activity during the pandemic, LSAPs increased government tax revenues," he said. "This higher revenue almost entirely covered the direct losses from LSAPs, leaving consolidated crown debt virtually unchanged over the medium term."

He said RBNZ research showed the programme had also restored financial market confidence, then lowered long-term interest rates, which held down the exchange rate and supported exports.

Seems like the smell of blood is in the water. The gallery is circling Luxon.

Mood of the Boardroom thing.
A photo of the Herlad Mood of the Boardroom event.

Erica Stanford is pictured with an unidentified guest.

He was sat beside her at Nicola's disaster speech. Also Bishop has far too short hair for John nowadays.
A photograph of Erica Stanford talking to two sportspeople. John Key is crashing in to touch their ponytails like the freak that he is. A photograph of Lurch from the Addams Family with a mullet haircut, beloved by hair fetishists like John Key.

Stuff going with Lurch, the Grenon-Joyce Herald going with St John Key's favourite (as long as she ties her hair into a ponytail) Stanford.

Fight fight fight !!!

From the Post

"Luxon’s personal approval ratings continue to be extremely challenged. His net favourability rating is -24% compared with Hipkins who is on 0.
Both leaders had record falls in this latest poll compared to the one run in June."

Electorate has "got to know" both and likes neither.

Also ran the numbers through the calculator and rather than CoC 68(!) vs LGM 59 it'd be Coc 63 v LGM 59

Nats - 38 (not the inflated 43), the rest the same.
clintfern.bsky.social
Oops meant to say ex Nat staffer Tim Hurdle who runs Freshwater.
clintfern.bsky.social
That Vance column has really weird assumptions, Nats holding all their electorates as their vote tanks.

It gives them a 5 extra seat overhang - never going to happen in the real world. I'm not sure but maybe the ex Nat staffer is trying a bit of boosting.
clintfern.bsky.social
The big worry is that the voters are leaving the Nats to go to Winston.

Labour should be making more headway with the terrible coalition performance.

The Malpass article backs you up.

"It is true that polls move around and the 1 News Kantar Poll had National on a generous 34%. But it is understood that the National Party’s internal polling have the party much closer to the 30% level - 31% on a good week and in the 20’s on a bad one."

To me the numbers in the article don't add up.

Labour has 34% and 42 seats
National has 31% and 43 seats

On those % of vots should be more like Lab 42, Nat 38
