I tend to see centrism as an ideology that prizes process over principle. It's compromise, not as a political necessity, but as a virtue in its own right.

It seems like a huge mistake in hindsight to allow the executive branch to use words like 'judge' and 'warrant'. They should be protected terms.

The opening anecdote is someone being prescribed an SNRI by a GP - something entirely routine for years which is not affected by the rule changes - and experiencing some horrific side effects.
I was prescribed an SNRI for anxiety long before I suspected I had ADHD.

This is an astonishingly negative framing. ADHD folks have been screaming for this because there simply aren't enough psychiatrists and half of them think we're all faking. ADHD is not a mental health condition, it's a neurodevelopmental disorder.

Tonally it was very different from what came before, but I think folks eventually came to appreciate it on its own terms. I thought 9 was considered more disappointing.
