Checked a bit of the article on New Zealand - it's basically as expected for AI. More or less correct in broad strokes, but with subtle errors and sources that don't even contain the facts claimed.

The main aim of the report is to call for justice, providing what Halperin-Kaddari describes as "a blueprint for how to secure justice in cases of mass atrocities when many of the victims are dead and it is impossible to point at a specific perpetrator". "We see October 7 as a test case," said Ben-Or, the retired judge. "Authorities are used to seeking justice on an individual case but here we have mass cases and most victims were murdered or too traumatised to speak which creates profound challenges for establishing accountability so we needed to come up with a new legal framework and new ways to prosecute."

How convenient that they just happened to decide the Alien Enemies Act cases could not be brought under the APA, and had to be brought in habeas instead.
Fourth, and finally, the Supreme Court left open the possibility that nationwide relief would still be available in lawsuits that challenge government action under the Administrative Procedure Act. As I explained for this magazine two years ago, "as nationwide injunctions get a bad odor, 'universal vacatur' under the APA is taking its place." The APA wasn't at issue in the birthright-citizenship case, but it's central to the large majority of lawsuits that challenge government policy. If nationwide injunctions are dead, but universal vacatur is alive, then Trump v. CASA will only rarely make a difference on the ground.

By the time President Barack Obama took office, nationwide injunctions had become commonplace.
