Should debates be conducted with deep mutual both respect on both sides? Depends entirely on the quality of the argument being put. Respecting stupidity is why we're in messes now. Fuck people who do not have the intellectual capacity to offer a worthwhile view & shouldn't be patronised.

Her Final Flight - the first open submissions winner iirc. Some very good performances in this, interesting idea. I'm not sure the story really works but there's some nice bits in it and it doesn't outstay its welcome.

Big Finish listens (in bed for a change). Terror Firma - this is a lot of fun. Some elements repeated in the new series in terms of Davros having deep emotional conversations whilst suffering, and forgotten companions. It's an interesting curio, very different.

Interesting to see how Super Mario 3D All Stars on the Switch went *stupidly* expensive for a while but with the release of Mario Galaxy 1&2 Vinted is now full of them for around £50 a pop. I pity anyone who panicked about bought one for £100 or more in the last year. Saw some for around €200

I don't think they should go that young again. The Doctor doesn't work that young generally; Matt Smith the only exception. They need age, gravitas, authority, steel. Young actors just don't bring that on the main.

If someone is going to make a screen adaption of a well loved book series, the absolute bare minimum requirement should be that the person doing it should have read them and be a fan. That way you get LotR instead of RoP.
