Having myself a time this Halloween!
I love that he’s a wee lil lad.
HFS. I know it's likely the B&W, but this screams nazi cosplay. Haircut doesn't help either.

I had to run to target to get period supplies
I really want the Jays to win so maybe we can finally start moving away from the 3 true outcomes BS.
I’m so tired and bored of 14 strikeout games.
This Jays-Dodgers series is narratively excellent. The Mariners this year were awesome, but they were a three-true-outcomes teams which would be less exciting against another three-true-outcomes team like LA. The philosophical differences between the Jays and Dodgers create delicious tension.
One thing I miss post pandemic is the end of 10am movies.
Years ago we were at the premiere of The Innkeepers in the town it was filmed in. At the after party recording a live episode about it, I asked West if he'd like to join us to talk about it for a bit. He looked at me like I spit in his face, rolled his eyes & walked away. I'll never forget it.
Few things are hornier than the first 4 minutes of Red Heat.
Feeling bad ass back in CT and seeing all these people with jackets and sweaters as I raw dog it (no jacket or sweater).

I’m a Garden of Life non-sport user. As a vegan, proper protein is a little more difficult for me to maintain. This was a quick alternative to eating beans all the time. Damn it.

Take a few minutes to appreciate Drew Struzan creating the original artwork for THE PHANTOM MENACE. Truly a master at work.

There are so many Diane Keaton performances to remember, but a lot of people haven't seen Reds, and A) my God, see it, it is a masterpiece and B) her performance as Louise Bryant is one of the bravest, toughest, least sympathy-courting pieces of work by an American actress in the last 50 years.
One of the few scenes that just stay with you for the rest of your life. RIP to one of the all-time greats.
the ending of THE GODFATHER, the best american movie ever made, doesn't work without diane keaton's final look --- at the realization of who she's married and what her life is going to become and what corruption lurks behind closed doors. unforgettable, inimitable work. RIP.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.
