The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

I would genuinely love to watch a documentary on these people and how they process the fact that they were not raptured or the world did not end on a particular date. They built their entire lives around something that never materialized. Do they pick a new date to cope?

Belatedly got around to reading VENOM: BLACK WHITE AND BLOOD #2, and @thekarlapacheco.bsky.social and Pere Perez created a wonderful late-‘90s throwback to Larry Hama’s hoo-ha-ing secret agent Venom. It’s a blast.

Venom gets showered in blood on the cover to Venom: Black White and Blood #2.
