Interesting that the judge notes that it is a "political belief" Robinson holds and then proceeds to call it a "protected characteristic". Even though political beliefs are not in fact protected characteristics under the Equality Act – only philosophical ones are. Somewhat gives the game away.
I suppose it was only a matter of time, once judges decided that transphobia was protected under the Equality Act, before they decided that full blown fascism was (www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crim...).

The New Yorker have somehow made one of the greatest comedy skits in British television funnier through idiotic editing
This New Yorker documentary about the 1988 UK government ban on broadcasting the voices of Sinn Féin and I.R.A. leaders is pretty good but they show *that clip from The Day Today with no explanation and no indicator that it is satire.
