after them, those they despise.’

🚨 None of the UN IPCC models capture what NASA satellites are seeing.

We should assume and prepare for the worst, as there is a non-zero chance of 3°C of global warming by 2050.

We better assume that it will happen and/or try to make sure that it doesn't happen.

“In harmony with the Tao,
the sky is clear & spacious,
the earth is solid & full,
all creatures flourish together,

When man interferes with the Tao,
the sky becomes filthy,
the earth becomes depleted,
the equilibrium crumbles,
creatures become extinct.”

After a long pause, I've just done another England Covid & NHS update as we head into the autumn/winter season.

TLDR: we're in a significant Covid wave now, the NHS is stretched, get boosted if you're eligible.

To (almost) no-one’s surprise, multiple sources of data agree on the long-term trends in UK temperatures.

2) Soil temperatures monitored across the UK since 1959 show the same long-term trend with slightly smaller variations from year-to-year as the soil integrates weather fluctuations.

Should we use soil temperatures more for climate monitoring?

Ocean heating is - literally - off the chart.

We only get to do this to our planet once - front row seats to the greatest fuck-up in the history of our species; brought to us by decades of corporate greed, political corruption & public apathy, & paid for by the futures of children we claim to love.

For some reason, #PFAS are still not illegal. The lobby won, but you don't have to lose immediately.

Most PFAS are in meat & dairy. But food paper wrapers are full of PFAS. Do NOT eat out of them. Never with a fork. Do NOT #recycle this as paper. This is NOT paper anymore but pure toxins ☣️
