ICE has been deployed to *provoke* civilians, not to protect them. They want to throw tear gas canisters and get people on the streets riled up, all to create footage for Fox News and Newsmax, et al., that will be used as a pretext for imposing martial law to lower voting rates in Democratic cities.

Got it. There's nothing set for the 18th in Covington. Indivisible here teamed up with Tango for something in Hammond. Baton Rouge and Lafayette are causing their usual good trouble. All I'm aware of nearby is the big one in New Orleans and the small one up at Audubon Park which we will attend.

Chicagoland is a friendly, safe, vibrant, & fun place. I’m very happy my kids have grown up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of the city, & in Evanston. They’re both wonderful places.

But ICE is attacking us. People are doing everything possible to protect their neighbors. But it’s hard.
