“Tear gas” is a weapon reserved for riot control (byUS) under International Law. Otherwise it is banned in war. Peaceful neighborhoods in Chicago need to sue US Govt. for abuse of this authority. There are no riots.

This is one of my 4th generation marigolds, that I have grown from seed. It is a young plant from early spring 2025 with a single bloom and some buds. I am seeing some color variation, like this one with extra wide maroon stripes. Original shop bought plant, and most of them, have the bright yellow part of the blossom more prominent and the deep maroon stripes are thin.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.
