15 October 1936 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Jacob Vieyra, was born in Rotterdam.

In February 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

Violinist Bram Rodrigues was born #OTD in 1924 and died aged 18 with his father in Auschwitz in 1943. He played violin in a string band and although he did not survive, his violin did, after giving it to his friend Johnny awaiting his return to Holland.
