They haven’t objected to being sent into U.S. cities.

They haven’t objected to extrajudicially killing foreigners abroad.

They haven’t objected to the politicization of the military.

But surely they will object to killing US citizens….

The official government account for DHS appears to be run by far-right trolls deliberately trying to provoke a response by using a term openly associated with ethnic cleansing. They will attack anyone who points this out and express faux outrage at the suggestion. They know what they are doing.
Remigration Wikipedia Page.

Not to be confused with Return migration.
Remigration is an originally European far-right proposal of ethnic cleansing via the mass deportation of non-white immigrants and their descendants, sometimes including those born in Europe, to their place of racial ancestry.
It is popular especially within the Identitarian movement. Some proponents of remigration suggest excluding some persons with non-European background from such a mass deportation, based on a varyingly defined degree of assimilation into European culture.

Worldwide, parties to armed conflicts have damaged critical healthcare infrastructure. In some cases, they have also killed or held captive patients and healthcare workers.

This leaves millions of people in armed conflict areas without a choice.
Not a target.

ICE agents surrounded, seized, and zip-tied a U.S. citizen who had just finished working a double shift because she didn’t “look” American to them.

She had her U.S. passport on her when she was detained, yet she was interrogated for an hour. trib.al/hDC7Vgv

The attack on our colleagues’ academic freedom, and anything to do with race and diversity, is in full force at OSU.

Obeying in advance once again, OSU is now withdrawing support for scholars studying topics and attending relevant conferences that the federal government doesn't like.

Very bad: OSU unilaterally cancelled the registration of grad students attending the joint conference of the National Society of Black Physicists and the National Society of Hispanic Physicists. And OSU won't fund recruiting at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science.

So glad that @tanvi.bsky.social followed up on this group of people; those who were in Border Patrol detention centers on the days Trump took office, people from countries where deportation wasn't easy for the Trump admin, who ended up dumped in Panama to send a message to other migrants.

As a human, as a mother, this story made me physically ill.

And that the ORR which just a few years ago was a vehicle to refuge and asylum is complicit in this kidnapping is so gross.

A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

This episode considers many grave arguments worth reflecting on, including ““I suspect that the legal opinions that led to all of the things that are happening in the Caribbean and perhaps the posting of troops… in various cities weren't influenced by what jags said to their commanders…”

There are a tremendous number of ICE watchers out in Rogers Park this afternoon after some early morning abductions.

People are guarding churches and patrolling alleyways. Ran into Alderperson Hadden. First timers tell us they're primed and ready to use their whistles.
