Emerging from the darkness of this era will require us to acknowledge that the previous status quo, including many institutions that may have served us well in another era, have been failing for my entire lifetime.
I was actually thinking of you when I asked! I know you guys do this! It’s awesome!
Some mags will post audio.

I had a person set one of my poems to music a few years ago. It was pretty cool.
If you have links to audio of your stories being read (preferably by you) please share them with me. I’d love to listen to some friends to pass the time.
I received this text message this week. I like to think it is a communication from the past, or maybe from beyond the veil.
These are the spouses worth living for.

In other news: Angry Robot Books has acquired Juliet E. McKenna’s The Riven Kingdom, described as a “fresh and gripping fantasy” that “blends politics, religion, and a battle for a dead king’s throne, perfect for fans of the Realm of the Elderlings series.”

i feel like i need to share this oldie but a goodie today
A tumblr post that reads "WHo would have believed that the perfect wikipedia photo caption could have been improved upon?" Two identical images are then side by side. The first caption is "Piper Kerr, a member of the Scottis National Antarctix Expedition, plays the bagpipes for an indifferent penguin, March 1904". The Caption for the image on the left reads, "Piper Kerr (right), a member of the Scottis National Antarctix Expedition, plays the bagpipes for an indifferent penguin, March 1904"
Because if the right subsections are polled, that small of a sample size is still mathematically inseparable from the larger group. It’s such an accurate predictor that the results are almost indistinguishable.

In short, we are “types,” not individual snowflakes. Just need the representations.

Want to check out my Weird/dark eco-fantasy/horror novelette, the Final Sight?

It’s kind of like Princess Mononoke meets True Grit in a desert post apocalyptic landscape.

Fun stuff :)
