In an interview, Richard Brooks (Dir. In Cold Blood
(1967), who co-wrote Key Largo with Huston) tells a story of his interactions with Freund when they worked on Key Largo. Freund gave Brooks reels of 16mm film, calling them "Lesson Number One."
