3rd Party. It ships in 4 boxes due to its size. Yeah, its expensive. Compare it to a Prime 1 Studio static piece, officially licensed. For the same price, you get a massive transforming toy. Its not for everyone though. Lewin knows the market is small for this.

Visited @agesthreeandup 's Warehouse Store today. They have the divorce class Metroplex on display. It is huge! Also really impressive in person. CW Bruticus is there for size comparison.

I missed the very first airing of the pilot because of the name. I remember getting the fall TV guide magazine, which showed all the new kids show, with a picture of Cheetor in altmode, next to "Beasties". My friend caught the first airing, but I didn't believe him, there was a new TF show at first.

Watching the "Beast Wars" version of the intro is weird for me, since the show was called "Beasties" here in Canada, and instead of shouting "Beast Wars", they would shout "Beasties" in the intro, lol. The change in name was do to some Canadian law, were "War" couldn't be part of children's show.

Walmart Retro Brawn checks out a Nonnef Productions kit.
Screws are included and everything laid out really well against the sprue so one cut does the trick. Nice silver plastic!

Brawn knows how sexy he is with G1 claws.
I love how much arm was replaced with the kit. He’s so much more of a properly boxy little robot man.
He still holds the pistol perfectly.

Brawn is shrugging because he can shrug now. He still transforms the same but now the joint for helping that happen is something you can have fun with. The wrist turn now, too.

For Guiltaur, I did want to give him his accurate fusion cannon, and back cannon, however, the chest requires a lot of resin, and I went over budget for this one, lol. I might release a deluxe kit next week with the two additional parts.

When possible, I try my best to change or add as much new parts to the custom class figure, so you're not repainting the existing one with a new head. You're also getting a different look from the stock figure, helping it set it apart from what you started from.

When we were picking characters for this figure, I originally suggested TFA Lugnut, at the beginning of the year. I couldn't think of any other copter mode characters to use. As we finally got to work, I looked at what parts could be changed, and decided with a new torso, Guiltar would work well.
