She should think of it like turkey stuffing

Just this general unease that a lot of gamedev related content is marketing or marketing-like. It doesn't feel true to the reality for me. Maybe it's just too easy and tempting to add a ton of polish to your videos and make it feel like a scripted tv production?

Sometimes I think about doing a weekly stream where I try to be as much my real self as I can (as opposed to an internet personality, which we have enough of). I would likely not enjoy this, but maybe it would be good.

Crashing windows explorer?

There are so many things I feel that way about. Why couldn't they have AI that does this miserable stuff instead of taking away all the fun things?

Everything to do with consoles is like this, TBH. If there was one time I wished for someone to blatantly copy another's hard work, it would be for console makers to clone the steam developer interface.

Me: I'd like to adjust the price of my game

Steam: Cool, enter the new price and we'll provide conversions for every country and be done with it

Nintendo: Cool, do all that work yourself, select a date & time for each country, and all 5 regions will send you individual rejection emails next week

Do you think this will give you extra insight the next time you're designing a character's outfit?

I never played KH2 because I recall reading you should play Chain of Memories for Game Boy first, and then I just put it off forever.

Have you ever been lost in a video game level, wandering empty halls, until you know you're going the right way because you finally run into enemies? Because you don't know what to do without conflict? Well some people live their real lives that way

Is there Silent Hill-themed food?

Very first impressions of Silent Hill F: hard to be scared when the environment is this beautiful. Is this the environment equivalent of Lady Dimetrescu?

I'm curious as to what the industry was like to work in during the early days. Today it seems like most of us grew up playing games and that's our motivation, but in the 70s and early 80s, was it more hoping you stumble on something people may like, not even knowing if you like it yourself?

Minor medical situation on the flight and it’s cool that my wife is able to jump up and help out when they ask for a licensed medical professional.

One day someone will need a regular expression so I stay ready.

The Animal internet just has pictures of cute human hands reaching out for cuddles

I hope this little dude never outgrows the part of his personality that says “if you see an open human hand, that’s where your tiny face should go”. He does it literally all the time. If I present my hand to him and he’s not super hyper (even if he is sometimes), he just puts his head there.
