Huge nerd. Sings and codes, not necessarily in that order. Not big on own pronouns, happy to respect yours. Leave my trans brothers and sisters alone.

"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)
This is a fantastic Scarleteen piece. I really wish I'd had it as a reference back in the 80s.

(I could say this about most Scarleteen pieces, honestly. It took me decades to learn the things about myself they cover that I really needed in my teens.)
If you’re new to the wide wonderful world of asexuality (like if you’re wondering if you’re ace, or you know you are, but you’re not sure what that might mean for you personally), we have an amazing primer that can be a great starting point: www.scarleteen.com/read/ident...
Just the Basics, Ace: An Asexuality Primer
Think you might be asexual, or just curious about the ace community? Alaina Leary has theΒ details.

Thanks for your work on this!

(Even if "Mastodon admin polycule falls apart" is probably going to feature in one of my nightmares.)
@thornwolf.com is *still* doing clearance on merch for artwork that should really have been the theme for the entire year so far.

(I've bought a ton, the shirt always gets compliments at rehearsals. I'm sure it would get compliments anywhere, but rehearsals are where I usually am lately...)
*CLEARANCE* #Orcanize merch is now at its lowest prices ever as I'm getting rid of my last of stock. Now's your chance to save on hoodies, tees, tanks, and totes!

Hoodie: Was $65 now $50
Tee: Was $35 now $25
Tank: Was $30 now $22
Tote: Was $25 now $19

This is basically a paraphrase of what I said the other day when one of mine managed to break the fountain in the backyard trying to get at a lizard.
Possibly related: β€œHow much trouble is it possible to make in a fenced-in backyard? You have EXCEEDED my EXPECTATIONS”
Oh god, mine exceed my expectations in that regard on a regular basis.
I've seen a bunch of good responses to this ridiculous piece, but Wil Wheaton going full on "oh honey, bless your heart" is *chef's kiss*.
my god he is serious oh joshua, joshua, joshua .... sweetie.

No. Just ... no. I mean, no.

Joshua, I need you to sit down and listen to your Elders. I am here to tell you, with my full chest, that you are ignorant and wrong, you should be embarrassed that you said this crap out loud.
I have blocked so many Nazi tattoo apologists in the last few days...
I don't know what kind of bird was honking loudly right outside my bedroom window last night for half an hour at 3AM, but for once I was less interested in identifying it than swearing at it.

Not beating the "ridiculously cute lesbian couple" allegations.
Sexy James Watt is more Lovecraftian horror than Halloween costume.

Probably a better person than I am, too. I do try to help people who are horrible to me, but it takes a lot of extra effort and with certain people I'm just not up for it.
The hard part about helping people is that a) sometimes they turn out to be horrible, and b) even horrible people should be able to get help.
And yes, they're very open about supporting the Trump administration even now, even hoping that the administration kills me for being trans, "but not until my case is over [laughs]."
Just noticed the local opera house for which I sing fairly often is using AI promo art.

Not happy with the fact that the question "how do I object to this while still making enough money to live?" now covers every aspect of my life...
'{thing} didn't exist back when I wasn't paying attention to it' is always my favorite take.
Elizabeth Bear wins the internet forever.
Gender is like mayonnaise.

It's fine in small quantities for people who like it, but some folks just will not stop smearing it all over everything.
They're missing a big fundraising opportunity – I'd pay quite a lot to guarantee I never see either of them again.
I've bought a new magnifying glass for mine twice.

I have no idea where any of them are.
I take it someone at Bookfinder looked at Amazon search results and thought "we need something at least that bad."
