With people who aren’t as online it’s more likely they have no idea, they probably just still see her as the Harry Potter lady.

Some of them will know and not care because of the money. With others their teams will absolutely downplay what JK says because of the money.

I do believe that the general public doesn’t know just how far gone she is, largely because the media has barely covered any of it and it’s all mainly on Twitter, but either their teams failed them or they just don’t care.

Like, y'all have entire teams of people supporting you and NOBODY along the way went "hey, uh, this may not be good for you to do..." If that's the case, fire your team. They should be vetting your offers better than that.

When it was just the bridge I was okay with it, since they could have just been doing some in universe retro futurism. But seeing them reuse things from PIC S3, STO and seeing them using PADDs just makes me worry a little.

I feel like Discovery intentionally gave this show a lot of breathing room when it comes to worldbuilding, I really hope that isn’t wasted because they want to make things feel more familiar and safer. (2/2)
