📣I’m bumping this today as I’m actively looking for work opportunities.

I’m available for freelance positions, but ideally, a full-time position is preferred, given my years of editorial experience in print & digital media, broadcasting, and Public Relations.

#worksky
Hi all,

As we approach the new month, I’m still looking for freelance & full-time opportunities. Sadly, I couldn’t secure more work in Feb. & March, but I’m hoping things will turn around in April & May.

My portfolio link & email are included in my profile & editors can also DM me here.

#worksky
It's the start of the new week so I'm boosting this post to inform all editors that I'll be available to accept freelance work from Feb. 2025.

If you're accepting pitches for early impressions, previews, reviews, guides & more content for your publication, I'm available to be contacted via DMs here
But you made a good point, nonetheless.
I'll move Boss Nef 😂👍 with the Nod-Krai peeps.
True, I could keep Nefer with the Nod-Krai region, but she only got her Moon Wheel there, despite originally from Sumeru.

Also, Thoma's from Mondstadt but got his vision in Inazuma. Where characters get their visions/Moon Wheel isn't dependent on where they're from based on these few examples.
@powerwashsimulator.co.uk I'm trying to find your Support info. Tried looking at the Square Enix Support page, but can't find the game listed.
Additionally, I excluded Nod-Krai for the time being, as we don't have all playable characters from this area so far (with Jahoda to be arriving some time soon), as we only have Lauma, Flins, Ineffa, and Aino already released from Nod-Krai.

#GenshinImpact
I'm aware that Wanderer may be up for debate, but if I put the Sumeru AQ and his character story into perspective, he had his Scaramouche identity erased from Irminsul (actually, all his identities), he's technically from Sumeru as Wanderer, right?!

I'm open to be corrected, ofc.

#GenshinImpact
Just realized that every nation except for Mondstadt & Sumeru has a playable character for every element. I included Nefer as she's confirmed to be from Sumeru.

Sumeru doesn't have a playable Geo character yet.
Mondstadt doesn't have a playable Dendro character yet.

#GenshinImpact
All released or confirmed playable characters from the Mondstadt region based on elements in Genshin Impact. All released or confirmed playable characters from the Sumeru region based on elements in Genshin Impact.

A company with decades of single-player experience pivoting to multiplayer? Well, it worked for Anthem, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, FBC: Firebreak, Redfall, Marvel's Avengers, and all those PlayStation games
Quantic Dream announces they are developing a competitive multiplayer game

Star Wars: Eclipse development still continues

blog.quanticdream.com/writing-a-ne...
For over 28 years, Quantic Dream has been pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling. With award-winning titles like Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, more than 25 million players worldwide have shared the journeys of Ethan Mars, Jodie Holmes, Kara, Markus and Connor, with us.

Since 2018, we have entered a new phase of growth and innovation. We doubled the size of the team, bringing together talents from all over the world united by the same passion for creativity. We opened a new studio in Montreal, moved into new headquarters in Paris, built the next generation of our proprietary technology, and became our own publisher.

After years as a single-project studio, we also decided to take a new step. Multiple teams are fully dedicated to crafting the next generation of great games, including something very different, a competitive multiplayer experience, born from the same spirit of curiosity and creativity that has always defined us.

This new title may surprise our fans as it is very different from what we have done so far. But taking risks, challenging ourselves, exploring new ways of playing and telling stories, and attempting what seems impossible, has always been part of our DNA.

We also know how demanding it is to create something new. Earning the trust of players, standing out in such a competitive space, and introducing fresh concepts is incredibly challenging. And since we have no legacy in this genre, we know we have everything to prove — which is why your support and feedback will be essential. Together, we believe we can create something truly unique.

Of course, development of Star Wars: Eclipse continues, and we are eager to share more with you in the future.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all our fans around the world for playing our games year after year, for their kind words whenever we meet, for their patience and encouragement.
My broke ass can't afford Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and I didn't get the opportunity to review the game, so I'll have to wait until... (checks watch)... NEVER to be able to play Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

🤷
To add to this, I really do need more freelance work or a full-time position, as finances have been challenging over the past few months.

Moreover, my mum has just informed me that they haven’t been able to pay the mortgage for a few months, so we are at risk of losing our home if we can’t pay.
A friendly reminder to my media moots that I’m still available to take on #freelance work if you need a writer for news pieces, reviews & guidework.

I can be reached via DMs here on #Bluesky or via email at [email protected].

Reposts are much appreciated🙏🏽!

Thanks all🫶🏽❤️!

If you’re looking for an Android equivalent to the iPad, then any Samsung Galaxy Tab device is likely your best bet. But if you already own more than one Apple product, it’s probably wise to go for an iPad.
With Jocasta and Bastion acquired, who’s next??? And also, which cards for this current season should I work towards getting????

Mind you, I do love the Discard archetype🥰!

One more thing: do share your deck codes in ALT Text☝️🏽🤓!

#MARVELSNAP
I haven't posted anything #MARVELSNAP related as I've been busy with two game reviews & have played very little of the game or Deadpool's Diner.

I went to explore the Snap Packs & while I do have a bunch of cards that I have yet to own, I would like to know which should I invest in getting next.
The unowned Visions of the Future Series 5 cards in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for Marvel Snap. The unowned Heralds of Galactus Series 5 cards in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for Marvel Snap. The unowned Series 5 cards in the Series 5 Collector's Snap Pack for Marvel Snap. The unowned Visions of the Future, Heralds of Galactus, and Fantastic 4 Series 4 cards in the Seasonal Series 4 Snap Pack for Marvel Snap.
Quote this with the first four Horror movies that come to your mind that are 10/10s for you. No cheating. Just the first four that pop into your head.

👹The Evil Dead
🧛Sinners
🌺Midsommar
👥Split
Alien
Vampyr
Night of the Living Dead
Don't Look Now
Alien
The Innocents
The Thing
Hereditary

I mean, we're already seeing certain sites pivot towards AI-generated writing and already doesn't perform well because people don't want to read AI bulsshit and can always check but also, uses unverified, baseless or inaccurate infomation in said articles.
Me seeing this post and my reaction be like:
Genshin Impact's Yanfei is smirking.
Now, that site is no more as of early August this year.

No one works there.
No new writing has been published.
It’s just there, a shell of its former self, and honestly, management is to blame for its downfall.
The latter is true, and something I experienced firsthand towards the end of my tenure with my previous employer, and while those casino articles were eventually removed, I have a screenshot, so you can’t fool me.

I hated seeing my reviews & guides right next fucking gambling shit😡🤬!!!
A screenshot of now deleted casino/gambling articles.
Breaking my silence for a hot minute. Nick’s right. There are so many great writing across independent outlets that many don’t get to see due to Google being fucking trash, or in the case of The Escapist, have brilliant writing besides casino/gambling shit.
Like thousands of incredible columns still exist on The Escapist and you can hardly find that history there now because Google is trash, the website is just SEO slop and casino articles now… and that’s just one example.

So much games media history just being wiped away by vultures.

google will really derank websites for relatively minor infractions but then allow a brand to pedal codes pages and guides for PEGI 12 games aimed at children right next to pages encouraging people to sign up to predatory online casinos with legally grey offshore gaming licenses lmao
Videogamer's new logo a screaming exclamation mark on the 'support independent games media' argument. Legitimately thought this was someone taking the piss when it was first posted in a discord, but no, it's on the site. You have to laugh (or else you'll cry)
I was working in retail when the Kinect launched for Xbox 360, and I was trained to be a part of the activation in-store, so I played the Kinect: Star Wars game (which was surprisingly good), but what I hated was the Tom Clancy game they released for the Kinect.
