My close friends are aware of how much I value friendships. They've always been equal to romantic relationships for me.

And if you aren't doing the work to cultivate and maintain friendships like you do romantic relationships, you are creating a problem you'll regret facing later.

Simply put — I agree, both types of love are important. I hate that romantic love is, unsurprisingly, romanticized.

Hello my name is Charon but I go by Torii, many people can't say my name correctly.
I'm 49 years old & disabled. I have mobility issues and a lot of illnesses. I've been
raising money to by a car, I already have some saved. I'm missing doctors
appointments and being stuck in the house for months at a time. I live in a very small town and transportation is very limited and being on SSI there's no money left after bills and groceries. Or medical service transportation works sometimes but at times they never come back and get you. Anything helps.

Perhaps in some parts of the country but in Chicago? Hell no. In fact I distinctly remember a PSA campaign warning us against forgetting the holocaust that MTV ran in 2007/2008 that hit me in my chest like a bat there was a series of these commercials
