The Construction Firm. They’re going to build the monstrosity on top the rubble of the house that Eleanor Roosevelt built.

Next, the Architect. He designed this monstrosity. It was him on the roof of the White House back in July

My life rn
This was going to be even more annoying than I had anticipated, and I had anticipated a pretty high level of annoyance, maybe as high as 85 percent. Now I was looking at 90 percent, possibly 95 percent.
Excellent!
Hey #sfba friends -- here are a couple of posters for you, created by the same artist who made them for Chicago. Print and share with everyone who needs them!

I once worked with a guy from Romania who grew up during Ceaucescu. He told me about Ceaucescu building a new WWII monument, which everyone knew was really a monument to himself.

Let's not have any illusions what this is really about, or any qualms about tearing it down if we get through this.
First it was a $200 million ballroom.

Now he’s trying to build a grand arch on the Washington Mall—without Congress's input.

Creating a new D.C. museum or monument is supposed to be a collaborative process. Because these places belong to *all* Americans.

Trump treats them like his property.
Trump eyes a triumphal arch to mark America’s 250th anniversary
The arch would be constructed across from the Lincoln Memorial, on a small patch of federal land currently occupied by a traffic circle.

Earlier this week, ICE grabbed another Russian dissident, in this case a decolonization activist from the Buryat community. If his case goes the way of Artyom Vovchenko and Leonid Melekhin, he could soon be deported and left to rot in a Russian prison. meduza.io/en/brief/202...

Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

I guess I'm the wrong person to commentate on this because I'm a Harvard College alum, but then again I'm Black and from East L.A. and live just miles from the Maine border and I think it's important for everyone to understand that there are lots of working class heroes who don't have Nazi tattoos
Seriously, why are you insulting people's intelligence like this. There is very obviously a massive excluded middle between "bland Ivy League corporate automaton" and "still has large Nazi tattoo." There's nothing wrong with having found him appealing. He was! But it's over and this is silly

Apparently some folks are playing real dumb about skull symbols so let’s play a little game I like to call “Nazi skull or not a Nazi skull”

First up, the Jolly Roger. This is a pirate skull, not a Nazi skull. It means you might get robbed, but prolly not genocided.

With me so far? 1/x

I’m fighting to stop rates from soaring, but I need your help. Go to kaine.senate.gov to share your new rate and how it will impact you and your family.

‪AOC: You're damn right that it's a Democratic priority to keep people from getting poisoned, from dangerous chemicals
You're damn right that it's a Democratic priority to bring down the cost of housing.

There's no both sides to this, Republicans are actively voting against working class interests
