I'm gonna #RootRootRead during this game.
Done! Thanks! They weren't on the block list yet. Can't have any of them slipping through the cracks!

No one is above the law, except for every single Republican politician and activist convicted of a crime over the last decade because Trump has pardoned all of them or commuted their sentences.

Here’s a great reason to insta-block, directly from them!

This is a very good point about DHS. They direct harassment campaigns on Twitter using quote-tweets.
US Government accounts have arrived on Bluesky.

Block on sight.

Protect your digital space.

Be aware that the DHS account in particular is known to quote dunk on regular people to encourage their followers to harass them.

The detach quote function will come in very handy here…
Interesting move... Let's see if it pays off... for the Blue Jays
The last two games suggest otherwise, so I'm not giving them any credit yet. They did get very lucky there, but that luck is about to end!! (🤞🤞)

Probably should have noted this in the story, but Astros GM Dana Brown was running the Blue Jays' draft in 2017 when they took Nate Pearson in the first round
I was looking for something like this earlier! Bluesky never fails me.
I made a feed, it's an ongoing collection of things Mike Johnson haven't seen or heard about.

Completely agree. That's my biggest fear, too.
Yep. And I'm sure he's trying to discourage people from going by making them think it will be anything but peaceful.
That's his favorite reply when he doesn't want to answer a question, when he knows the Trump admin has done something illegal or questionable. There's an awful lot of these such actions he hasn't seen.
Q: What's your message to the 170 US citizens who have been detained by ICE? About 20 of them are children

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know what you're talking about with the children. I haven't seen that so I'm not going to comment on it.
Just read that Abbott is deploying the Texas Natl Guard to Austin for the protest tomorrow. If you are planning on going to that one, please be careful and don't play into their game. Keep it peaceful, keep it positive.
I'm calling it Because We Love America Day
Hawaiians Believe in kings in their culture. so they are calling it No Dictators Day.
I am too.
How he can say this - or anything he says - with a straight face is beyond me
Mike Johnson: "The last time I checked, Americans have more freedom right now to express themselves and speak their minds after Republicans took over ... it is the Republicans who restored your right to share and speak your mind."
I hate the feature where no one can see the post if you or the other person is blocked.
No one is arguing this! No one! At all!
They display it for all to see. That isn't the argument. The argument is that eating THAT food once or twice a season or even once a month or so isn't the issue. The issue is the everyday habits.

From Daikin park in Houston, so like I said, there are healthy options at at least one ballpark.
What really gets me is the people that get up during the most crucial moments of a game! I'm like, dude, just wait 2 minutes! The beer isn't going anywhere, but this bases loaded, 2 outs, trying to keep the lead thing that's happening is exciting and worth watching! It's why you're here!! Baseball!
And I can tell you from a lot of experience that they're climbing those stairs a LOT during the games. I have to stand up and let them pass every time they do. 😂
Exactly! It's the price of groceries - the healthy food we should be every day - and the lack of physical activity that is hurting us. Ballpark food isnt what's killing us.
That's the one new rule I like. Though I'd maybe give them 4 disengagements and batters 2.
I go to 30ish a year and even with a few healthy options at the ballpark, we opt for the other stuff. But you can bring in your own healthy food if you want. For much cheaper. But yeah, most people go to maybe a handful of games a year (if that), let them eat their hot dogs and nachos if they want!
