I keep forgetting that English people add a phoenetic 'r' where there's a vowel. That's why I didn't get that name 'Shaun the Sheep' was a pun for a good 10 years.

Those two words do not sound the same in Ireland. more like shore-n and shaw-n.

I never got the pun until very recently either. Despite many hours of Shawn the sheep with kids.

A poorly conducted debate overall on RTÉs This Week.

Essentially, a 2 on 1 debate with the moderator rarely focusing in on the Fine Gael candidates positions, record or platform.

Nevertheless, Catherine Connolly remained calm, cool and presidential.

Listening to this debate and Humphries has no substance whatsoever. Only carefully rehearsed attack lines from Fine Gael. Mar is gná with them. But she has absolutely nothing to offer in any sense of herself.
