It's a giant amount of $ here too. The medium US income (quickly shrinking) is in the 50k-75k range. I mention that upper bracket bc those folks like to clump themselves in with the obscenely/obesely rich, voting for their policies. They don't get that Trumpism is or will eventually harm them, too.

First there was the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd.

Now the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters.

My understanding is there were children in Florida's Alligator Alcatraz but idk if we have clear details on that. And many stories of kids being pulled off the street, outside of elementary schools, etc. There so much ramping up chaotically rn, I haven't seen many in-depth reports yet.

A trend I’ve noticed after having watched too many of these despicable ICE arrest videos is when bystanders demand they let detainee go, an officer suggests they’re being picked up for a serious crime to try and deter help. But we know that’s not true of a vast majority of people and the jig is up.
