Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.

For the Military, a Shutdown Is About a Lot More Than Just Pay
It also affects many other people, institutions, and services necessary for readiness.

This should be seen as what it is: a huge step towards ending free and fair elections.
Breaking: The Department of Justice announced it will "monitor polling sites in six jurisdictions [in New Jersey and California] ahead of the upcoming November 4, 2025, general election to ensure transparency, ballot security, and compliance with federal law." www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justi...

The New York Times publishes a handy guide to which federal forces are terrorizing us at any moment. This is America, 2025.

No Kings 2 - what did it accomplish? It grew our movement and exposed the increasing weakness of the desperate regime. WE gave them ONLY bad choices.

1. Crack down with violence on peaceful protesters, inspire fury and triple the size of The Resistance or
2. Do nothing and look weak.

They did #2.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I'm starting to think that the government shutdown is part of their hostile government takeover.

Go read Project 2025, again.

10th boat blown up in the Caribbean.

6 people dead this time.

Not a single arrest made.

Not an ounce recovered.

Not a shred of evidence provided.

The Caerphilly result is what we need to see everywhere at the next election: people coordinating to vote tactically for parties which seek a fairer, kinder, greener country.
Pushing out both those who have betrayed our trust AND those who seek to exploit that betrayal.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

Today, the White House Press Secretary told the country that this ridiculous damn ballroom is “the president’s main priority”…not reopening the government, not lowering the cost of groceries, not lowering the cost of housing, not lowering the cost of healthcare….building a ballroom

I’m currently at the entrance to Coast Guard Island where National Guard troops and ICE agents are being housed prior to their deployment on the Bay Area. Couple hundred people are here blocking access in and out. Lots of faith leaders here who are praying at the edge of the property line.

Still hard to fathom that people voted to put the King of Bankruptcy in charge of the world's largest economy.

They’re flooding the zone, so there’s a new horror story every hour of every day.

SNAP funding runs out in November.

Millions of Americans, children included, are going to go hungry.

Talk about it every single day.

Scream about it.

Don’t let it get pushed out of the public consciousness.
I got my flu and Covid jabs yesterday, and only spent a small amount of time lying on the floor at the chemist’s. 💪

GiveDirectly gave $550 to every adult in the Khongoni subdistrict of Malawi, reaching over 85,000 people. It was enough outside money to double local GDP. Extreme poverty plummeted by 88%. Inflation was negligible.

Now they're going even bigger by giving $550 to 185,000 people - an entire district.

Good: Jamie Raskin tells me he's formally demanding any/all internal communications between WH and DOJ on Trump's $230 million payoff.

More Dems should talk this way about Trump's criming. He's turning the presidency into a massive Bribe Delivery System.

Trump’s Vile New $230 Million Shakedown of DOJ Just Got Even Worse
It’s bad enough that Trump wants—and DOJ will likely fork over—this tribute payment. Now, get this: It can probably be done at first without even being revealed publicly.
