🚨The absence of media coverage of this natural disaster in Alaska, the lost/missing people, and the destruction of the aftermath is up to us to share. Please help if you can - even if it is just spreading awareness. There is no FEMA going to help them. 1/2

A key reason why it’s been so awful to see fascists destroying the FAA is that aviation safety regulators have historically been *extremely good* at avoiding the dangerous human fallacy of “this bad thing hasn’t happened yet, it’s just nearly happened, so it’s totally safe to keep doing it”

“an airplane hasn’t crashed YET as a result of a laser pointer blinding the pilot, just NEARLY crashed, so it’s actually not dangerous to shine lasers at airplanes and all global aviation authorities are overreacting cowards” is real logic I’ve seen from alleged adults on here
Pilot blindly lands plane after eyes are damaged by laser aimed into cockpit, feds say
“You almost killed this man,” a Washington judge told the man accused of pointing the laser.

We had Angela Davis speak at my university a couple of years back. One of the many insightful things she said - protest in the way that aligns with your passion. If that’s poetry do poetry or music etc. Because then you will be able to sustain it. If naked bike rides are your passion, 100% do that.

Someone in my mentions is upset because these people haven’t suffered the worst at ICE’s hands and therefore they shouldn’t be praised for being out on the streets?

Yeah, no. To push back on these people we need everyone — especially those with relative privilege — to get up and get involved.

Amazing Emergency Naked Ride. Here’s the moment thousands of riders rolled through the protests at the ICE facility and cheers erupted. 😮💯

FWIW ICE is probably the least accessible federal agency I’ve ever covered, and that includes the CIA.

Why are there so few (none?) news stories about individual ICE agents themselves? Who they are, what motivates them, any moral dilemmas they face? Why aren’t protesters trying to get some to speak out?

Few patients appeal a health insurance denial, but a little-known process that requires insurers and plans to seek an independent opinion can force insurers to pay for what can be lifesaving treatment.

Here’s what experts say you need to know.
How to Fight Your Health Insurance Denial with an External Appeal
When a health insurer refuses to pay for your treatment, you may have the right to have the denial reviewed — and potentially overturned — by an independent provider. Here are six steps experts sugges...

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;
Riot cops standing a street with less-lethal weapons, and one in a gas mask has a cloud of pepper dust around his helmet.

You can just share my video from me instead of sharing a screen recording of my video from a content farm account that isn’t on the scene btw.
