One thing folks are going to need, strangely enough, will be storage totes.
Families are left, in too many cases, with nothing else except what they were able to carry to shelter.
As relief supplies come in they will need something to keep stuff in.

Two major storm systems struck western Alaska in rapid succession, bringing record flooding, extreme winds, and extensive damage from Kwigillingok to Kotzebue. Homes have been damaged and destroyed, critical infrastructure compromised, and subsistence resources disrupted. The Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund will provide support to affected communities for immediate relief, recovery support, and long-term resilience, including disaster preparedness initiatives. New coal leases in the Powder River Basin have been paused after the first one had only a bid for 1/10th of a penny. They are trying to blame previous administrations, but the writing is on the wall. We should be supporting coal workers and communities not doing wtf this clown show is doing.

New report from Alaska's epidemiology folks shows that the risk of catching whooping cough was *13 times* higher for unvaccinated infants than vaccinated ones during a recent outbreak, and the lone death came from an unvaccinated infant: epi.alaska.gov/bulletins/do...

At least 20 people are unaccounted for in Kwigillingok, in the Y-K Delta as of Sunday morning, and several homes were flooded and carried away by the remnants of Typhoon Halong - the worst storm on record.

Some/much of that is coming from bot accounts. We know that foreign governments are operating large numbers of social media accounts with the goal of fostering division/discord in the United States, and I wouldn't be surprised if what you're seeing is part of that trend.
